My art practice explores interactive, ephemeral installations using light, sound, sensors, and digital fabrication. I like to explore new technologies and present them to people in novel experiences. I’ve contributed to Wollongong’s creative scene through public art and have also shown work at major events like Vivid Sydney and Edge Sydenham. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines and using technology to create playful, inclusive public experiences.
Operation Freeze ( 2017 ) was an installation that I feel embodies what I would like to pursue and achieve with my art. The installation was made for the art show “Food Waste Art” curated by Hidden Harvest. Visitors were asked complete a simple phrase for their choice of ingredient: " I could have ended up in the Bin, But instead I ended up in _____ " Their phrase would be displayed on to the floating frame for everyone else to see along with other participants reflection.
Rayuela (2019) was a multi-level project bringing together a story on sustainability. Envisioned to be a fun, interactive and educational game created to merge together experience of light installation and interactive website for Vivid Sydney 2019., commissioned by Destination NSW.
